A New Lease of Life

  • 160 years of history in Toulouse

Le Bibent is a fabulous brasserie which is a perfect blend of the baroque and ‘art nouveau’. Steeped in history, this long-established restaurant is a true institution and first opened its doors well over a century ago in 1861. Located on the most beautiful square in Toulouse, the restaurant is to be found in the heart of the city on the famous red-bricked Place du Capitole. Completely renovated and given a new lease of life by Christian Constant in 2011, it continues to guarantee its namesake: ‘Bibent’ means ‘drink well’ in Occitan – but rest assured that you are guaranteed to eat very well here too...

Quite simply one of the best addresses in town, we do recommend that you reserve ahead to guarantee your table at the time that suits you best. However, we will always do our best to seat you as soon as possible if you do not have an advance booking – and the attentive service will continue throughout your dining experience.
